IT Division Site Template: get started
Try or buy the template, download it, and deploy your IT Division site with your licence key.
The IT Division Site Template is a complete SharePoint Online site for an IT department – service requests, incidents, change management, assets, projects, knowledge base, vendor contracts and governed documents – deployed by a PowerShell script.
1. Get a key
- Free trial: open the 30-day trial, confirm your work e-mail with the code we send, and enter your SharePoint tenant. You get a trial key and the download.
- Buy: on the buy page enter your company, e-mail and SharePoint tenant. After payment the key and the download link arrive by e-mail.
Your tenant is the first part of your SharePoint address: contoso for https://contoso.sharepoint.com. The key works only there.
2. What you need
- Microsoft 365 with SharePoint Online
- PowerShell 7.2 or later and the PnP.PowerShell module 3.0 or later
- An Entra ID app for PnP (the Implementation Guide walks you through it)
- Site Collection Administrator on the target site; SharePoint Administrator to create the site
3. Deploy
- Unzip the download and open
docs/01-Implementation-Guide.md. - Edit
config/site-config.json– tenant, site address, owners and your brand colour. - Run the prerequisite check, then a dry run:
pwsh -File scripts/Deploy-ITDivisionSite.ps1 -ClientId <app-id> -CreateSite -WhatIf - Deploy with your key:
pwsh -File scripts/Deploy-ITDivisionSite.ps1 -ClientId <app-id> -CreateSite -LicenseKey "ITDIV1.…"
Deployment takes three to six minutes. To add a key to a site that already exists, use scripts/Install-ITDivisionLicense.ps1.

Downloading again
Sign in to My licenses – every template licence has a Download template button. Download links in e-mails are valid for 24 hours.
