IT Division Site Template: licence, renewal and expiry
One key per tenant per year, checked offline. Renew early without losing days; your site keeps working after the term.
How the licence works
- One key covers one SharePoint tenant for the term you bought. Deploy as many times as you need in that tenant.
- The key is checked offline on the computer that runs the scripts – nothing is sent to us.
- The key is stored on the SharePoint site, so the site's owners can see who it is licensed to and until when.
Renewing
Renewal options appear 3 days before the end of the term. Renewing early is safe:
- Open My licenses and click Renew on the template licence (or open the buy page and paste your current key into Renewing? Current licence key).
- Pay. The new key starts the day after your current key ends, so no days are lost.
- Install it on the site with
scripts/Install-ITDivisionLicense.ps1. Both keys are kept; the new one takes over automatically.
From a trial, click Buy in My licenses – the paid year starts on the day of purchase.
When the term ends
The deployment and reporting tools stop working until a renewal key is installed. Your site and everything in it keep working – the licence never touches a deployed site or its data.
Moving to another tenant
A key can't be changed to a different tenant. If your organisation moves to a new tenant, contact us and we'll arrange a key for the new one.
