O365 Migration: Google Drive bulk import from CSV
Migrate many users' Google Drives (or folders and shared drives) to OneDrive and SharePoint from one CSV file – every row checked, each row its own task.
Set up the Google account first – see Import from Google Drive.
Google Drive → Bulk import from CSV → Download CSV template. One row per Drive:
| Column | What to enter |
|---|---|
| SourceGoogleUser | The Workspace user whose Drive to copy (for a shared drive: a member of it) |
| DestinationUrl | A SharePoint or OneDrive library or folder – or onedrive:jane@fabrikam.com for that user's OneDrive (choose the OneDrive host on the screen) |
| SourceFolder | Optional: empty = everything in My Drive, Projects/2024 = that folder, shared:Marketing Team = a shared drive |
| Options | Optional: docs=pdf / office / skip, conflict=ifnewer / replace / skip / keepboth, metadata=yes / no |
What is in the source goes straight into the destination. Pick the Google account, click Open CSV file… – every row is checked (user, folder, destination) – then Start or Schedule. Each row runs as its own task.
- Get the list of users from Google Admin console → Directory → Users → Download users.
- The destination OneDrives must exist (the user opened OneDrive once, or an admin pre-provisioned it with
Request-SPOPersonalSite). - Run the same CSV again for a catch-up: with copy if newer only new and changed files are copied.
