A scheduled task did not run, or stopped early
Schedules run while the app is running on that computer. What happens when the PC was off, and what the end time does.
Schedules need the app running
Schedules run inside the app on that computer. If the computer was off or asleep, or the app had been quit, the task starts as soon as the app runs again – unless its end time has already passed, then it is marked as stopped.
- Close the window instead of quitting – the app keeps running in the taskbar (how).
- Set Windows Power & sleep so the computer doesn't sleep during the migration window.
- Make sure you stay signed in to Windows (locking the screen is fine; signing out quits the app).
Stopped at the scheduled end time
A task with an end time stops when it is reached: Stopped at the scheduled end time. Run it again (or schedule it again) – with Copy if newer items already copied are skipped.
Queued instead of running
At most the Run … at a time number of tasks run together. Others wait as Queued and start when one finishes.
See all schedules on the Scheduled tab under Tasks.
